Vueling launches Vueling Pass
Thursday 1, January 1970
The new Vueling Pass can be used in VIP lounges at 10 European airports, offering preferential boarding and other VIP benefits to card holders. Vueling also introduces new headrests on its DUO seats, enhancing its service for business travellers.
Vueling, the new generation airline based in Barcelona, has taken a step further to appeal to the business traveller with the launch of Vueling Pass, an exclusive card which offers many VIP services to ensure passengers travel in maximum comfort.
The launch of this new product has been made possible by a collaboration agreement with Gestió i Serveis Trade Center, the property management company responsible for the Barcelona World Trade Center and the Center for Business and Lounges at Barcelona Airport.
The main features of Vueling Pass include access to VIP lounges at 10 European airports - Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Malaga, Amsterdam, Palma de Mallorca, Brussels, Rome, Lisbon and Milan. Each pass offers up to 10 visits to the lounges per year with the ability to purchase additional visits if required. Cardholders can enjoy preferential boarding on all flights with Vueling;fast track services (initially at Amsterdam with other airports to follow); and the opportunity for PUNTO programme holders to earn 500 bonus points during the launch period with the potential to accumulate more points with additional purchases. PUNTO programme holders may also take advantage of a 30% discount on VIP parking at Barcelona and Madrid Airports or benefit from a 10% discount on rooms and offices at Barcelona Airport. Vueling Pass can be purchased for 250 € per year by visiting www.vuelingpass.com.
ENHANCEMENTS TO DUO
Strengthening its offering to business passengers, Vueling has also added new ergonomic headrests to its DUO seats. The new headrest will enable passengers who purchase a DUO ticket to enjoy a more comfortable trip. The DÚO product was launched last year in response to the needs of business travellers offering preferential boarding, a double seat in the first row at all times, a guaranteed space for hand luggage and a snack and drink on board.
With the launch of Vueling Pass and the introduction of the new DUO headrest, the company has extended its range of services for the business passenger sector, which now accounts for over 40% of its customers.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
