Monday 3, May 2010
Warwick International Hotels which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year is proud to welcome in its Collection a new hotel in Berlin: The Hotel California am Kurfürstendamm.
"We are very proud of welcoming the Hotel California within our Collection. It is our first hotel in Berlin and we can now offer our clients another international city within our Collection which now numbers more than 38 destinations worldwide." adds Jean-Marie Pebrel, Director of Sales & Marketing – France and Corporate Sales – Europe.
Well situated on the Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's world-famous boulevard, in a building that combines history and design, the Hotel California has been offering its guests, for more than 25 years, rest and calm in comfortable and elegant surroundings.
The hotel has 155 rooms and suites with modern and stylish interiors. Most rooms face the quiet inner courtyard and offer peace and tranquillity in the heart of the bustling Berlin metropolis.
The Café California and the Bridge Bar offer a luxurious atmosphere with mirrored walls, marble floors, fine upholstered furniture and chandeliers. In the inner courtyard, the Summer Garden, with its splashing fountain under palm trees and orange trees, invites to relaxation.
The Spa and Fitness Centre with its expansive sauna facility, modern fitness room and solarium are also available.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.
