Black Eyed Peas Jet2 Birmingham
Wednesday 2, June 2010
Jet2.com is fast becoming the stars' favourite airline and this weekend was no exception, as none other than 6-time Grammy Award winning chart-toppers the Black Eyed Peas jetted into the UK for the 8th night of their world tour.
The funky four-piece flew fresh from a performance at the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon on board the same 737 aircraft, which recently transported ex-Prime Minister Gordon Brown back to London after his election night defeat. Famous for such chart toppers as ‘I’ve Got A Feeling’ and ‘Where Is The Love’, singers Will I Am and band-mate Fergie are set to raise the roof of the Birmingham NEC tonight in front of 13,000 adoring fans.
Jet2.com boss Philip Meeson said: "I’m delighted to add the Black Eyed Peas to a long list of celebrities who love to travel with Jet2.com including Gordon Brown, Mike Tyson, Damon Hill and even Prince William! I’m told there were no rock ‘n’ roll antics on board the flight and am sure the band will have been impressed with our fantastic customer service, comfort and punctuality!”
