Easyjet flights update 17 Apr
Saturday 17, April 2010
Due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland, UK Air Traffic Control (NATS) has now said restrictions would remain until at least 1:00 BST on Sunday.
The disruption is expected to continue, and we are unable to say when operations will resume as normal given the uncertainty of this situation. A number of northern and western European countries are also affected.
Volcanic ash can cause a significant safety risk. The suspension of operations could last for an extended period. Please keep checking the website for updates or information on any booked flights.
All airlines are affected by this unavoidable issue.
IMPORTANT - ALL FLIGHTS to and from the UK remain CANCELLED at least until 1:00am on Sunday. Also all the flights to and from France, Italy and Germany have been cancelled at least until 19:00 pm of today.
IMPORTANT - ALL Paris airports will remain closed until 19 April 0700hrs local time (CET).
If you are flying today please can you check your flight's current status on the Latest Travel Information page on Easyjet website before you travel to the airport.
Please be aware that our Customer Experience Team will not be able to provide you with information regarding any further flight disruptions.
