Final chance to join hundreds of walkers, runners and cyclists on May Bank Holiday Sunday

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is calling call walkers, runners and cyclists to join in its biggest annual fundraising event – the Sarsen Trail and Neolithic Marathon.

The event, which takes place on Sunday 1st May, is a sponsored walk and run between the two World Heritage Sites of Avebury and Stonehenge. This year the 25 mile circular bike trail will start and finish at Stonehenge.

The demand for entries for both the full and half marathons has been exceptional this year and as places are limited the entries for the Neolithic Marathons will close on Monday 18th April.

Sarsen Trail participants can walk the full distance of 26 miles, or choose from three shorter distances of 7, 11 and 15 miles with the 25 mile bike trail starting and finishing at Stonehenge. The entries for these will remain open and participants will have an opportunity to register on the day. It is however advisable to book in advance to avoid extended wait for registration on the day.

For a quick and easy way to register visit the Trust’s website at www.wiltshirewildlife.org
