Galapagos voted Top Bucket List Destination

The Galapagos Islands have been voted the Top Bucket List Destination in the 10Best Readers' Choice awards.
Galapagos was selected as the leading Bucket List Destination in a survey of 10Best.com and USA Today readers. Other destinations and experiences receiving top honors include Alaska, African Safari, South Pacific Islands, Italy, and Greece.
An archipelago of 14 islands anddozens of islets some 600 milesoff the Ecuadorian mainland,the Galapagos Islands are home to a national parkand marine biological reserve.Unique species includingiguanas, Galapagos tortoises, albatrosses, boobies and sealions can be found here. The province hasbeen a UNESCO World NaturalHeritage Site since 1979.
