Iberia extends the period for changing flights to Cairo

Iberia will operate its flight between Madrid and Cairo on Febuary 2nd with an A321 aircraft, offering 70 additional seats.
Due to the unrest in Cairo and other major cities in Egypt, and in anticipation of possible changes in the travel plans that its customers may request, Iberia has decided to easy the terms of its fares to Cairo for those customers who plan to fly to Egypt in the next days.
Those passengers holding an Iberia ticket, issued before January 28th, to fly to Cairo until February 8th will be able to change its flight date and route, even though the fare booked doesn’t allow any change. Customers will also be able to reimburse their tickets for flights between January 28th and February 8th. The terms apply for flights operated by Iberia and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum. Passengers flying with other airlines have to contact the operating carrier.
Iberia is rescheduling its flights as the crisis continues. Iberia will fly on February 2nd between Madrid and Cairo with an A321 aircraft, offering 70 additional seats. The flight will depart from Madrid at 6:10 am the next day, Wednesday, and the flight Cairo-Madrid will depart Wednesday at 13:00 hours.
The changes should be requested at the travel agencies from which the tickets were purchased, or by a telephone call to Iberia’s Call Center when they were obtained directly from Iberia. Changes have to be made until February 15th to fly until February 28th Iberia customers in Egypt can use a special telephone line in Spain (+34 954 349924) to contact the airline.
