Things to do in Ibiza

Party and Nightlife

Ibiza is the undisputed Party Capital of the World. If it is nightlife you are after, you have to go to Ibiza: top clubs, on-form djs, hot bands, a cosmopolitan mix of clubbers, local residents, freaks, mature partygoers, fresh faces, a wide range of sexualities, and the full alphabet of celebrities.

Amnesia has its disco roots in the 70's and today is a mecca for all breeds of dance fanatics with a strong following amoung trance fans. Its biggest night is Cream which is held every thursday during the season with resident Paul Van Dyke with Marco V, Eddie Halliwell and Ferry Corsten regular contributers and making it possibly the biggest and best trance night in the world. From 2006 to date, Amnesia has been awarded for 3 consecutive years the prestigious Best Global Club award in the Winter Music Conference. One of the secrets to its success lies in the quality of its sound. In 2009 Amnesia installed a system of 24 color lasers with the latest technology controllable like a robot. The combination results in a spectacle unimaginable. Likewise the list of rich and famous that have been to the disco during their summer holidays is endless' Naomi Campbell, Puf Daddy, Dolce & Gabbana, Bono, Boy George, Elle McPherson, George Michael, Valentino Rossi and Calvin Klein' the gods of fashion and beauty.

Entrance fee: 20-30 EUR/person, 30-55 for the parties Cream and Cocoon

Pacha is pure class on a massive scale, there are stacks of different areas playing predominantly house with a real Balearic flavour and you're likely to find a few musical surprises as well! For holidaymakers Pacha's big night is Pure Pacha every Friday of the summer which gets some great guest Dj's and live acts in the back room. The outdoor terrace looks out onto the front of the club while down below the usually rammed dance floor sprawls over multiple levels running under the DJ booth.

Privilege is a true Ibiza experience and a unique place on earth. It holds the Guiness world record for "Biggest club in the world". The Sunday marathon sessions are what Space has been iconic for over the past few years but the lineup now has parties most nights of the week all of which go down in true hardcore Ibiza style - this is where you will find Ibiza veterans hanging out! Es Paradis is located right on San Antonio waterfront, right in the thick of the San An' action but despite being a notorious haven for 'Brits abroad' Es Paradis is lavish and quite spectacular inside, themed on a Roman palace, with towering pillars, podiums and spiral staircases. Es Paradis is one of the oldest clubs in Ibiza - today probably its most renound night - certainly amoung Ibiza holidaymakers is the infamous water part 'Fiesta Del Aqua' which takes place every Saturday night in the summer. Musically Es Paradis is hard to classify- you can hear the Tidy Boys at tidy Ibiza on a Tuesday in Es Paradis playing the hardest of hard house then catch DJ Sammy if you go back on the Wednesday!
