KLM resumes scheduled services to Buenos Aires

After an absence of 10 years, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will resume scheduled services between Amsterdam and Buenos Aires on 31 October 2011. Buenos Aires will become KLMs’ 67th intercontinental destination.

KLM President & CEO Peter Hartman: “With Buenos Aires as the 7th destination for KLM in Latin America, we reinforce our position in this strongly growing region.

Latin America is of key importance to the extensive Air France-KLM network.

Buenos Aires, with 14 million inhabitants, is one of the most important destinations in this fast growing market. Argentina is a very popular tourist destination for European travellers. Furthermore Argentina has a large business market as well, with the Netherlands as an important import/export trading partner”.

The new direct service to Buenos Aires Ezeiza airport will be operated three times per week upcoming winter season, where a frequency increase to four times per week per March 2012 is foreseen. Flight KL707 will depart in the morning from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 10.10 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays arriving in Buenos Aires in the evening on the same day at 8.20 PM. The return flight KL708 will depart from Buenos Aires also on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10.20 PM, arriving in Amsterdam the following day at 3.35 PM. Flights will be operated with a Boeing 777-200ER, which can carry 318 passengers: 35 in World Business Class and 283 in Economy Class. Plan your trips with the help of great resources

More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
