More Air France flights to America

This winter, Air France is increasing the number of frequencies to North and Latin America, by offering six daily flights to New York and increased capacity to Boston and Mexico. There are also two daily flights to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil.

On its long-haul aircraft, Air France now offers a revamped Business class cabin and its new Premium Voyageur cabin.

Starting at the end of 2010, Air France will be equipping its Business class cabin with new, more comfortable seats which are more practical thanks to innovations such as:

  • a new seat structure offering a seat-bed over two metres long, the longest on the market,
  • a new fixed footrest,
  • seat controls which are easier to use,
  • new storage space,
  • a 15-inch wide screen (38 centimetres).

Starting in summer 2011, more than twenty aircraft will be equipped with these new cabins. By 2013, close to forty aircraft (Airbus A330, Boeing 777, Airbus A380) will be equipped.

Air France also offers customers its Premium Voyageur cabin class, located between the Economy and Business cabins. It provides passengers with the comfort of a private cabin with a fixed-shell seat offering 40% more space compared with the Economy cabin.

At the airport, customers benefit from priority check-in counters, a free baggage allowance of two pieces of baggage each weighing up to 23 kg, boarding at their convenience and priority baggage delivery at destination.

On the Americas network, Air France offers the Premium Voyageur cabin to the following destinations: Atlanta, Boston, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Seattle, Toronto and Washington.
