airBaltic to Go Double Daily from Turku and Oulu, Finland
On January 31, Latvian national airline airBaltic is adding the second daily flight from the Finnish cities of Turku and Oulu, to offer better connections for passengers travelling via North Hub Riga to the Middle East and Russia/CIS destinations.

Skyteam in 2011 and 2012: an extended network in Asia and South America
2010, which marked the alliance's tenth anniversary, SkyTeam welcomed into the alliance Vietnam airlines and TAROM, and announced the future membership of China Eastern and China Airlines in 2011. Garuda in Indonesia and Aerolineas Argentinas in South America have also signed an agreement to join the alliance in 2012. SkyTeam will thus comprise 17 member airlines.

Air France new features for 2011
Starting this spring, Air France will be operating several weekly flights to four new destinations: Billund in Denmark, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Lima in Peru and Orlando in Florida. The Airbus A380 will start operating to Montreal and Washington and as from January 2011, the Paris-Ho Chi Minh City route will be operated by the 200th Boeing delivered to Air France in December, a Boeing 777-300 ER.

In 2010 TAP was voted “Best Airline in the World” by Condé Nast Traveller and may retain its title in 2011 thanks to its inclusion once again on the “Gold List” from which a winner will be selected, as announced in the December issue of the prestigious international magazine.
