SkyTeam to welcome AerolÃneas Argentinas as future member
AerolÃneas Argentinas, the flag carrier of Argentina, will sign an agreement by the end of October to officially start the process of joining SkyTeam as the first South American member of the airline alliance. Customers will benefit from increased access to and from Latin America.

Iberia takes another step to make Barcelona airport a major intercontinental hub
Iberia is growing in Barcelona. In the next summer season, the Spanish airline will operate direct transatlantic flights from the city to Miami and São Paulo. To bring traffic to these flights, Iberia is transforming El Prat airport into a genuine hub for flights by Vueling and Iberia Regional /Air Nostrum.

French strike affects some Iberia flights
Strikes by workers throughout France scheduled for tomorrow, 19 of October, will cause some cancellations and delays to Iberia flights. Iberia has already cancelled some flights to and from Francia, and some other European and domestics flights could be indirectly affected by the strike.

The largest number of Air France flights to the Caribbean
With over 60 weekly flights, Air France offers the largest number of frequencies between Metropolitan France and the Caribbean. It operates routes by Boeing 777-300ER to Fort de France, Havana, Pointe à Pitre, Port au Prince (via Guadeloupe) and Punta Cana and by Airbus A340 to Cayenne and Saint Martin.
