Brits vote Italy Most Inspiring Destination
According to a new survey, Brits have named Italy the most inspiring country to visit. Famous for its history, culture, art and cuisine, Italy seems to have everything we are looking for. America was voted the second most inspiring place, followed by Australia. France and Greece completed the top five.

Lufthansa Group ends crisis year 2009 with an operating profit of 130 million euros
Lufthansa has achieved its aim and defied a market-related revenue decline of 2.56 billion euros by posting an operating profit of 130 million euros for 2009. The Group thus earned about 1.2 billion euros less than during the previous year.

Tourism: upbeat prospects for 2010 season
Some 80% of Europeans continue to travel for their holidays according to a new Eurobarometer survey on ‘The attitudes of Europeans towards tourism 2010’. Only 20% of over 30,000 randomly selected citizens were almost certain that they will not travel in 2010, which is significantly below the proportion of non-travellers in 2009 (33%).
