Brits vote Italy Most Inspiring Destination
According to a new survey, Brits have named Italy the most inspiring country to visit. Famous for its history, culture, art and cuisine, Italy seems to have everything we are looking for. America was voted the second most inspiring place, followed by Australia. France and Greece completed the top five.

Tourism: upbeat prospects for 2010 season
Some 80% of Europeans continue to travel for their holidays according to a new Eurobarometer survey on ‘The attitudes of Europeans towards tourism 2010’. Only 20% of over 30,000 randomly selected citizens were almost certain that they will not travel in 2010, which is significantly below the proportion of non-travellers in 2009 (33%).

Demand in the tourism industry recovering
Vacation demand has stabilized for the 2010 summer season in Germany and in the UK in particular, two of the largest tourism source markets in Europe. The greatest growth has been recorded for vacations in Turkey and Egypt. Addi-tionally, cruises are currently popular across Europe.
