Over 400 charities apply to partner with Ryanair 2011 cabin crew charity calendar partnership

Ryanair has confirmed that over 400 charities from across Europe have applied to become the 2011 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Partner which will provide one charity with the €100,000 proceeds from the sale of Ryanair’s world famous 2011 Cabin Crew Charity Calendar which will be launched in early November.

Ryanair’s last 3 Cabin Crew Charity Calendars have from the sale raised over €300,000 for charities working with the homeless and sick children in Ireland and the UK and Ryanair will select one charity from the 400 that applied to join it for the launch of the 2011 edition of the calendar in November.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“Ryanair’s cabin crew will once again raise much needed funds for charity and this year over 400 European charities applied to become the 2011 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar Partner. Since the launch of the first Cabin Crew Charity Calendar in 2008 Ryanair’s in-flight beauties have raised over €300,000 for great causes and in 2011 we expect to raise another €100,000 for another great cause.

Ryanair will confirm which of the 400 charities has been chosen to receive the full proceeds from the sales of this years calendar at the launch of the 2011 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar in early November and the calendar will then be available for purchase onboard our aircraft or on Ryanair.com.”
