The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.

 

Excellent service, extensive spa facilities or an exquisite restaurant are classic signs of a great hotel. Yet some hotels go one step further, and offer their guests an additional luxury: an unforgettable view of the city. The rooftops of large hotels in major cities feature rooftop- bars, a restaurant or even a swimming pool, from where guests can enjoy a panoramic look at the city. The hotel price comparison website www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of 15 hotels from all around the world, whose highest floor offers more than just a terrace. From Dubai and Berlin to Athens and New York, guests can enjoy the dizzying heights and breathtaking views over the roofs of these international cities.

 

Here are the 15 selected international hotels with breathtaking rooftops, ranked according to the rating given by travellers in the trivago community and on partner review sites:

 

1. Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Dubai)

The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a luxurious Lifestyle- and beach hotel in Dubai. This massive building houses 617 rooms, a water park, and twenty restaurants. Two roof terraces offer guests stunning vistas: From the “360“-Bar on the roof of the Marina-Restaurant, guests overlook the coast of the Persian Gulf while enjoying a Shisha and light lounge music. A similarly spectacular sight awaits the guests visiting the elegant “Uptown Bar“ on the 24th floor of the hotel, where the twinkling lights of the city and the soaring heights of the Burj Al Arab hotel can be seen.
