TripAdvisor’s mobile site attracts more than 1m unique monthly visitors

Travel community TripAdvisor has launched its mobile website. It is currently available in 17 countries.
TripAdvisor’s mobile website is currently available in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, India, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. It is available in 11 different languages.
The company stated that the beta version of the mobile website has already attracted more than one million unique monthly visitors, more than any other mobile website in the travel industry.
The mobile website is compatible with all major cell phones and smartphones.
On TripAdvisor’s mobile site, travellers can find nearby restaurants, hotels and attractions, and directions to them – all with the smartphone’s GPS capabilities.
